We offer both! Our physical location is The Westminster Recovery Center at 77 East Main Street, Suite 300, Westminster, MD 21157.

We also provide virtual sessions statewide through our online platform, Crossroads Connect.

Where do I park?

Parking is available behind the building in the rear lot.

What are your office hours?

Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM for general calls, daytime appointments, and group sessions

Evenings: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM for appointments and group sessions

Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

How long is a typical session?

A comprehensive assessment lasts 1–2 hours. Ongoing sessions are determined by your treatment recommendations and may range from one hour per week up to 10 hours per week.

What do I do to get started and make an appointment?

Reach out to us through the website or call 301-696-1950 or 410-857-8448. A member of our team will help match you with a clinician to assess your situation.

What is the hourly fee?

Fees vary depending on your health insurance coverage, deductible, and any copay or coinsurance amounts.

We are in-network with all major health insurance companies and Maryland Medicaid.

If you do not have insurance, we will submit an application to a Maryland State grant that may cover all services.

If all else fails, we’ll do our best to provide services at an affordable private-pay price.

How do I pay?

We accept cash, check, or credit/debit card.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, we do. We are in-network with major health insurers such as Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, and Maryland Medicaid.

What is a free initial phone consultation?

When you contact us, we’ll connect you with a counselor or have one call you back to share how we can best address your needs.

What is the age range of your clients?

We serve clients ranging in age from 13 years old to senior citizens.

What can I expect in the first session?

You’ll get to know your counselor and begin discussing what brought you to therapy.

If you’re part of a group, you’ll meet the other group members and see how the sessions are structured.

The first meeting focuses on comfort, trust, and identifying goals for treatment.

What is therapy like with you?

Therapy is a collaborative and supportive process. We focus on helping you build insight, develop coping skills, and strengthen your overall well-being.

Each session is guided by compassion, respect, and practical strategies for real-life challenges.

Showing up and being open to the process is what really matters.

How long will I be in therapy?

The length of therapy varies depending on the treatment modality. Everyone’s needs are unique, and some clients benefit from longer-term support.

Do you offer video or phone sessions?

Yes, we offer both in-person and virtual therapy.

How do I know if you are the right therapist for me?

Finding the right therapist or center is about fit and comfort.

You’ll quickly get a sense of our style and whether it feels like a good match for your needs.

The most important thing is that you feel safe, understood, and supported.

We welcome your feedback and will always help you find the right fit.

I’ve never been to therapy or shared personal issues before. I’m used to handling things on my own. Aren’t people who go to therapy weak?

Not at all! It takes strength and courage to reach out and look at what’s not working.

There’s a saying in recovery: “I can’t, we can.” Working with others who share similar struggles can be powerful and life-changing.

What’s the difference between talking to you or my best friend or family?

Friends and family can be wonderful sources of support, but therapy is different.

A therapist is trained to listen without judgment, identify patterns, and help you understand and manage thoughts and emotions for lasting change.

How does it work? What do I have to do in sessions?

Show up, share, and be honest.

Some sessions may focus on coping skills, while others may explore deeper experiences and how they shape your current patterns.

Are you a Christian counselor?

We are not exclusively a Christian counseling practice.

We respect and support your beliefs as part of your overall wellness and integrate spirituality into sessions when appropriate.
